Game Boy Music Club will change the way you think about writing music by taking away the infinite options of modern software and sitting you in front of a Nintendo Game Boy.
In this workshop, Australian Chipmusic artists Dot.AY and 10kfreemen will take you through the basics of writing chipmusic on the Game Boy with the program LSDJ, as well as sharing a few of their personal techniques. You will learn how to create your own original loop, how to make the most out of limited resources and be able to share your compositions with the group.
Gear will be limited, so please bring your own headphones, game boy, LSDJ cartridge or laptop, if possible.
