Analysis of the phenomena in everyday life: the work of Elke Reinhuber could be summarised under this maxim. In order to achieve this, she works with photography, video and interactive installations as well as prints and performances.
Elke was born in Ellwangen, Germany and lives and works in Sydney. She trained as a photographer, studying in Berlin, London, Bologna and Sydney and was visiting professor in media Arts at the Institute for Media Research at Braunschweig University of Art. Since March 2009, she is a PhD student in media arts at CoFA, Sydney with the topic “What if…?”.
Her numerous international exhibitions include shows and screenings in Chicago, Casablance, São Paulo, Québec, Buchaerst, Tashkent, Rivara, Cairo as well as many in her native Germany.
